February is a one of my favorite months of the year (very busy), one of the reasons it's  my little girl's  birthday!! I want to share some of my happiness and excitment with you, nothing better than organize a Festival of giveaways...right? Who doesn't like free goodies?? I do!

The second giveaway of this month is a rainbow silk from my shop "Under the Swing". Every child loves having colorful silks at home, they can dress up, dance, play and use their imagination.This silk is 11" by 60" long. Me and C  carefull dyed them using non toxic dyes.
This silk is one of C's favorite toys, no kidding! She plays with it everyday. So I am pretty sure your child will love it too.

Febrero es uno de mis  meses favoritos del año ,una de las razones es xq es el cumpleaños de mi niña! Quiero compartir algo de mi emocion con ustedes, nada mejor que organizar una festival de sorteos ... ¿verdad? ¿A quién no le gusta ganar un sorteo gratis?

Esta seda mide  28 cm x 1 metro y medio de largo.  C y Yo  teñimos cuidadosamente las sedas para mi tienda etsy usando colorantes no tóxicos.
Esta seda es uno de los juguetes favoritos de C, no es broma! Ella juega con ella todos los días. Así que estoy muy segura que a tu nene/a  también le gustará.

Hi my friends, few weeks ago we got some paper dolls from hello hanna for a review, as soon as C opened the package she started to play with them, they are so adorable and,well made,colorful and so easy to play with. It brought me so many memories that back when I was a little girl walking to the little store a block away from my house to buy a sheet of paper dolls, I used to play with them for hours and hours, it is one of those toys that become part of childhood !!

Hola amigos, hace unas semanas recibimos algunas muñecas de papel de la marca hola hanna para una revisión de producto, tan pronto como C abrió el paquete, ella comenzó a jugar con estas, son super lindas y estan muy bien hechas, muy coloridas y faciles de jugar. Me trajo muchos recuerdos de cuando yo era una niña pequeña  y caminaba a la tiendita cerca a mi casa, para comprar una hoja de muñecas de papel, solía jugar con ellas durante horas y horas, es uno de esos juguetes que se convierten en parte de la infancia!

February Sensory Bin

Nuestra Caja Sensorial de Febrero

Hi my friends, I want to start this post giving you a BIG THANKS for your kindness and your nice wishes referring to my pregnancy. And I have to say you are very good at guessing : )

By the time my picture (from my last post) was taken I was exactly 17 weeks!!  It was fun to read your comments : )

Well this is our February's bin, I decided to make this tub very but very valentine..with lots of pink. I'm not big in pink but I think my little girl is becoming more interested in this color so I thought it could just work fine.

Hola mis amigos, quiero empezar este post dandoles un gran agradecimiento por su amabilidad y sus buenos deseos al referirse a mi embarazo.Tengo que admitir  que son muy buenas adivinando : )
 Al momento exacto de haber tomado la foto  (de mi último post) yo llevaba exactamente 17 semanas! Fue muy divertido leer sus comentarios:)

 Bueno esta es nuestra caja del mes de febrero , decidi hacer est caja muy san Valentina .. con mucho rosa. No soy muy devota del color rosa, pero creo que mi niña está  más interesada en este color ultimamente, así que pensé que podía ser el plan perfecto del mes.

Well, I have been thinking on the best way to share with all of you that we are expecting our second child and I can't wait to have him/her on my arms. This is why I was feeling "sick" and I still have some early sickness. But I think is so worth it : )

Bueno, he estado pensando en la mejor forma de compartir con todos ustedes que estamos esperando nuestro segundo hijo(a) y no puedo esperar a tener lo (la) en mis brazos. Esta es la razón por la que me sentía "enferma" y todavía tengo malestar. Pero vale la pena :)

Melting Ice Experiment- Free Printable

Experimento de Ciencia-Derritiendo hielo-Imprimible

Well my friends, here in Alaska we have lots of ice,snow and cold, this is the perfect time to make some science experiments using ice.

I explained C how we make ice and why does ice melts.

I put couple of cubes of ice in a small glass bowl for she to taste it, feel it ,play with it and she found lots of answers on her own.

- Mom,the ice is very cold

-Mom, this cube is slippery for my hands

-Mom,this cube of  ice is very hard to chew

-Mom ,the ice melts and becomes water

Bueno amigos, aquí en Alaska tenemos un montón de hielo,  nieve y  frío,  asi es nuestro invierno!!Este es el momento perfecto para hacer algunos experimentos científicos con hielo.
 Expliqué a mi C, como el agua se convierte en hielo y  por qué el hielo se derrite.
Puse un par de cubos de hielo en un recipiente pequeño de vidrio para que ella lo pruebe, juegue y simplemente darle el tiempo a que experimente  con este  y se encontró con un montón de respuestas por su cuenta.

 - Mamá, el hielo es muy frío
-Mamá, este cubo es resbaladizo para mis manos
-Mamá, el hielo es muy difícil de masticar
-Mamá, el hielo se derrite y se convierte en agua

Hi my friends. I hope all of you had great holidays.

I wanted to share with you this window art activity that C enjoys making, the colors are very bright and easy to handle.

Hola mis amigos. Espero que todos ustedes hayan pasado unas felices fiestas.

Deseo compartir con ustedes esta actividad de arte para ventanas que C disfruta mucho, los colores son vibrantes y es super facil de hacer.

I got this band new set of window art at the goodwill store for $1.50, isn't it nice getting these kind of deals? On amazon you can purchase it for $14.93 I think.

Compre este set de arte en condicion nueva por solo $1.50, me encanta ir a este tipo de tiendas para poder conseguir cosas como esta, ya que en Amazon o en la tienda local de manualidades este set cuesta $14.93 o mas.

You just peel the picture off from the plastic and stick it anywhere (mirrors,windows,showers doors..etc) and you can remove them anytime you want without a problem.

Usted  solo tiene que pelar la imagen del plástico y adherir esta en cualquier lugar (espejos, ventanas, puertas de duchas .. etc) y se pueden quitar en cualquier momento que desee sin ningún problema.
