Our theme for July is Fourth of July

                                        Nuestro tema de Julio es acerca del 4 de Julio

For this white, blue and red sensory box we used:
-Poms
-Red and blue pasta
-Foam stickers from Joann's
-Marbles
-Cups
-4th of July stars in a stick from  Joann's
-Confetti
-American Flag lapel pins


Por esta caja sensorial de color rojo,azuly blanco utilizamos;

-Pompones
-Pasta de color rojo y azul
-Pegatinas de la tienda Joann's
 -Mármoles
-Tazas
- Pakitos de estrellas que las consegui en la tienda Joann's
-Confetti
 -Pins de la bandera

C had a good time playing with this sensory box over the weekend! She has a butterfly tattoo on her arm, she keeps showing it to everybody : ) of course is washable.

C la paso bien jugando con esta caja sensorial durante el fin de semana! C tiene un tattoo de mariposa en su brazo, le gusta mucho, que para ensenandole a todos : ) por supuesto que es lavable.

4th of July Flowers

Flores de 4 de Julio

 

These flowers are very easy to make with kids.

Estas flores son muy faciles de hacer para los ninos.

You will need:

Red and Blue dot a dot art paint.

Coffee Filters

Tape

Wooden sticks or pencils

 

Usted necesitará:
 

Rojo y Azul  pintura de arte de puntos 

 Filtros de café
 Cinta de pegar
Palos de madera o lápices

To make this beautiful flowers we used at the time two coffee filters ( I put a clothespin to keep them together, that way doesn't move while we paint) then we start painting with the dot a dot set.

Para hacer esta actividad usamos dos filtros de cafe a la vez (puse un gancho de ropa para mantenerlos juntos, de esa manera cuando pintas no se mueven) y luego emepezamos a usar el set de arte punto a punto.

Next to start the tie dye process we start spraying some water and then let it dry.It takes maybe 15 minutes or so.

Para empezar el proceso de teñir, salpica agua en los filtros pintados.Y dejalo secar , toma algo de 15 minutos.

Once is dried. Fold each coffee filter like this

Una vez seco dobla cada filtro asi (en forma de abanico)

Keep folding

Sigue doblando

Use a pair of scissors and cut a curve on top

Con ayuda de las tijeras recorta en forma de curva

 

                            Use tape to attach the flower to the stick (you can also use a pencil).

Use cinta adhesiva para unir la flor a el palito (también puede utilizar un lápiz).

                                                                         Open it up

Abre tu flor

Now you have a wonderful 4th of July flower!! You also can use different colors and make flowers for different occasions.

Ahora tienes una flores de 4 de Julio, pero tambien puedes usar otros colores y hacer flores para diferentes ocasiones.
