January Sensory Bin

Caja Sensorial de Enero

Our theme for January  is Squeeze and Stretchy (It was my husband's idea)....I thought it could be fun, and I wasn't wrong...the first time C saw it she went " waooooooooooooo"....Can I play with it?

I used some water balloons, silly putty, squeeze ball, squeeze duck that makes light when you shake it and hair bands.I thought it will be a good exercise to strengthen hand muscles .

Like I say on my last post We are dedicating more time to Art than we used to...she really enjoys it. Here she is coloring using her crayon rocks. I bought it here.

I got this easel for C at Michaels for $6. It was on sale, regular price $25. So as you all know I can't resist a good  deal...once I see one I HAVE to buy it!! Tonight we play the game " guess what"...Daddy draws the picture and C needs to guess what it is. It was fun.(and of course mommy was taking the pictures and finish picking up the house a little bit).

You all have a great day my friends!!
Tengan un bello dia mis amigos!!

What a creative idea! I am really looking forward to some nice weather here. We have been in the house with the flu. I forgot about silly putty. I will need to try it with Ella. Kerri

Love the squeezy bin. How did it work with
the silly putty in it? Didn't it get messy?
How about the water balloons? Did they break?

Kathy, I recomend after using the sensory tub put the silly putty back in his plastic container that way it doesn't get messy and dries up and you can put it back in the sensory tub until next time you use it.I also clean the sensory tub every two days right after we use it to keep it dry and clean, I rinse the balloons and the balls and the box.
The balloons are doing great so far C loves to pop them and get wet besides that she keeps them inside the box and plays with them.
Thanks for stopping by.
