Montessori Cards Holder TUTORIAL

TUTORIAL de Tarjetero Montessori

I have been asked for some of you my dear followers to post a tutorial to make  Montessori Card Holders. I've tried to take  pictures of every single step..hope it makes it easier..(I am not good at posting tutorials)  but at least I want to give you the idea : )

You will need :

A  13x10 inch square of fabric

Two 5.5 x 3.5  inch rectangles of fabric

Velcro

Thread

Sewing Machine ...but you also can stitch by hand..it will take a little longer but you can do it!!

Algunos de ustedes me han pedido que  publique  un tutorial para los tarjeteros Montessori. He tratado de tomar una foto de cada paso .. espero que asi sea  más fácil para ustedes .. (no soy buena en publicar tutoriales,creo yo), pero al menos quiero darles  la idea : )

Usted necesitará:

Un cuadrado de 13x10 pulgadas de tela
Dos rectángulos de 5.5 x 3.5 pulgadas de tela
Velcro
Hilo
Máquina de coser ... pero también se puede coser a mano .. que tomará un poco más de tiempo , pero usted puede hacerlo!

Stitch  all the way around entire small rectangles.

Coser alrededor de los pequeños rectángulos.

Asi tienen que quedar

 Fold your big square of fabric in half

Dobla el cuadrado grande de tela por la mitad

Asi como este

 Pin the small rectangles on the top of your square fabric.Pin all the way around the pockets.
Une con alfileres  los rectángulos pequeños en la parte superior de la tela .Coloca los alfileres alrededor de los rectangulos.

 Open  the square up
Abre el cuadrado

Sew  each pocket on to the square of fabric  all the way from one side of the pocket to the other.
Cosa cada bolsillo en el cuadrado grande de tela , todo el camino de un lado del bolsillo hasta el otro. 

 Once you are done it should look like this
Una vez terminado lucira asi

 Ok...Almost there..We fold our big square of fabric from the outside to the inside in half.
Ok ... Casi terminamos .. Ahora doblamos nuestro cuadrado grande de tela  desde el exterior hacia el interior por la mitad.

Just like this..and we secure the sides using pins.
Asi como esta aqui .. luego  asegure los lados con alfileres.

 Now sew the sides where the pins are.
Ahora cosa  los lados donde los alfileres estan.

Now turn the fabric inside out. Like this.
Ahora gire la tela del revés. Al igual que aqui.

Now you need to pin the lower edge of the big piece of fabric..keep the  edges all tucked inside using the pins.
Ahora  necesita fijar el borde inferior de la pieza grande de tela .. mantener los bordes todos metidos en el interior usando los alfileres.

Now sew the lower edge where the pins are.

Ahora cosa  el  borde inferior  donde estan los alfileres.

 It has to look just like this
Tiene que lucir de este modo

 Use hot glue to add two small pieces of velcro to your pocket holder.
Utiliza pegamento caliente para pegar la pequena pieza de cinta velcro a tu organizador de bolsillos.

Looks like this.....BUT wait your are not done yet..

Luce como este...PERO espera aun no hemos terminado.

 Last detail..We need to iron it. so it looks nicer.
El ultimo detalle..necesitamos planchar nuestro organizador..hasi luce mas mono.

 Makes a big difference eh!!NOW YOU ARE FINALLY  DONE..Put the cards inside the pockets and ready to go on the shelfs.

Que diferente luce eh!! AHORA SI HAZ TERMINADO..Coloca las tarjetas dentro de los bolsillos y listos para ir en los estantes.
