How does a Montessori Preschool works?

This is something I need help with, I am pretty sure most of you have experience with this feeling  and you  can help me.
C's been  going to a Momtessori School since the begining  of this month only for two mornings a week, she does fine, seems happy but I don't feel good about this school for some reason!
Why not?
- There are 32 children in this one classroom with 4 teachers, which is fine e but everytime we drop her off  we see most of kids look  bored!
-We usually stay for 5 minutes before we leave just  trying to read a book to her or being engage with her activities and seems like at least 6-8 other children come to her table to interrupt her or take stuff away from her and the teachers don't see this.
-She's been going there  for a month but it  seems like she had brought home 4 papers with pretty pictures that she drew but that it is all!
-When I ask her about her day at school, and what kind of work she did, she told me couple of times "mommy I was trying to do my puzzle but I needed help, I called the teachers but I don't think they hear me, beacuse they didn't come".
- She had also said that the children in her classroom are too loud.
WELL I don't know what to think, the teachers there are very nice (they really try), but I think they may need to hire more people Or maybe.. . Am I being to picky? Is this a real Montessori school? Can 4 teacher deal with 31 kids on the same room without a peaceful enviroment? Am I getting my money worth it?

I'm a teacher with 10 years of experience on the field, but I am not a Montessori Trained teacher yet, I think I have read every book about the Montessori Method I could found at my local library, I'm passionate about it, I believe on this Method , this is why I am taking a Montessori Teacher Training that will take me over 7 months to get certified and I LOVE IT!! ( I will post about it later).

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE the  right Montessori program for your child?

But just to let you know I am still doing homeschool  with her, I thought just giving her a  two days break away from mommy and home will be nice for improving  her social skills and problem resolving but I think for now she won't be back at this Montessori School. We may try other Montessori schools next year.
Thank you guys!!

GRACIAS!!

Patty

I would have to say trust your Mommy instincts on this! Yes, a lot of Montessori is focused on child learning and having the teachers set up a proper classroom environment for the learning to take place. It sounds to me like they are not well set up? I have worked with children for over 20 years and I can usually judge good programs from bad right away. What you are saying sends up some red flags. Don't apologize for wanting the best for your child....she deserves nothing less then the best. Let me know what you decide to do. I wish you the best.

Hi,
I sent my son to a Montessori Preschool for 2 afternoons a week. The max number of children was 16 but there was about 10 on most afternoons with 2 / 3 staff. It was calm which is why my son liked it. My son tried a school with about 28 kids and found it too chaotic, he got bored and I ended up homeschooling before I found the Montessori one.
Do you have any other ones you can try?
