Colorful Jar

Jarron Multicolor

C and me made this beautiful colorful jar weeks ago, she was very impressed with the finish product.
You will need:
-A glass jar (recycled from our jam)
-About 200 rocks ( I didn't count them but It is my guess..my goodness we use all of them and it was exactly all we needed).I will suggest not too big or not too small.
-Acrylic paint and a paintbrush
-Tree branches (we collected from our backyard)
-scissors
- about 6 glue sticks and a glue gun

-Tijeras

First C collected all the rocks from our front yard..She had lots of fun doing this!

Next we rinse the rocks with water and soap and then we start painting them.We let them dry over night.

Using a glue pistol start gluing the rocks on the jar.(I put the glue in the jar..not in the rock..that way C doesn't burn her little fingers, she was very careful anyways).

Looking good..

Vamos por buen camino..

After we finished gluing the rocks, I glued tinny cuts of brunches to the top of our jar.

Here is our rainbow jar!! I love it...so perfect and imperfect at the same time.

Aqui esta nuestro jarron terminado!!Esta hermoso me encanta tan perfecto desperfecto a la vez.

We also use it as a color pencil holder..C loves using it this way as well.

That is adorable! I love that it is a simple project that also takes time and has several stages. Very fun.
